All About Coda

It's amazing how your life changes when you get a dog. Every story we tell centers around this little cutie. That's why we decided to start this little blog to share our stories and pictures with our friends and family ... (plus we wanted to see what all this blog stuff was about)

Please Don't Go Mommy

This morning, my little darling did the cutest thing ... so cute I almost called out of work to stay home with her!

It was time for me to get my shoes on and leave for work (Bri was already at work). I was standing in the living room listening to one last news report and she came up to me and rested her head against my leg. I leaned over to pet her ... she looked up at me with those eyes of hers and I had to kneel down on the floor to be closer to her. She then proceeds to lay down on my long skirt and close to me as she could. She knew it was time for me to go and she was going to do anything to make me forget that! What a smart little cookie we have :)

Find our baby ...

[07-31-05]
Can you tell which one of these pups belongs to us ... if you thought it was the one with the crowd ... you were wrong :) Look in the back right ... there she is watching all of the commotion. You can barely tell, but all of the big pups are trying to get a sniff of Abby, a 9 week old pup. You can see her cute little tail in the bottom left.

Coda pretty much stayed on the outskirts of any activity, but made sure to watch carefully :) I think she had fun, even if she didn't actually play with any of the other pups.

More on the Puppy Picnic

Nadine has put up a page of pictures from the picnic on her web site. You can see all sorts of pups there. I will hopefully add more pictures soon! For those of you who have my Coda Snapfish album you can see pictures there ... if you want me to share it with you let me know.

Family Reunion

[07-31-05]

Yesterday was the puppy picnic I was telling you about. We had so much fun and I think Coda did too ... eventually. She got to meet 2 of her brothers and her father. In the picture above, Pony is the father and Rudy and the other dog ... who's name I didn't get ... are her brothers. I'll share more stories & pictures soon ... back to work for me.
